Camille Leblanc-Bazinet will have to wait another four weeks before she can begin rehabbing her shoulder following surgery last month. Leblanc-Bazinet dislocated her shoulder and tore her labrum in the weeks leading up to the CrossFit Games. She ultimately withdrew from the competition after the Cyclocross event.
At her post-op appointment yesterday, Leblanc-Bazinet was told that her shoulder is not ready to begin full rehab due to the instability prior to the surgery, likely meaning her shoulder was in really bad shape.
This puts her rehab just around 4 months out from the start of the 2018 CrossFit Open. Fingers crossed that she is ready to go at that time.
Little hike with my boys! Got my 4weeks post-op appointment yesterday and as much as I thought I would finally be able to start rehab… due to the instability in my shoulder pre-op I have to wait an other 4 weeks until I can fully start rehab 😭 the disappointment was real yesterday but no body got time for that.:. So I guess more patience for me and trying to get more creative mean while #roadto2018 #noonesaiditwouldbeeasy #workhard #beproud #healthyshoulder
