Here are your Week 1 Workouts for the 2017 CrossFit Team Series

It’s officially time to grab (or find) your partner and get to work on the 2017 CrossFit Team Series workouts. Last night, CrossFit officially released the four (yes, FOUR!) events for week 1.

The live announcement, a first for the team series, also featured workouts by teams of Austin Malleolo and James Hobart as well as Kelley Jackson and Jessica Griffith. Even Ro and Boz got in on the action!

Here are the workouts for the Rx division. You can find all of the event specifics here.

Event 1
9-15-21 reps for time of:
Synchronized thrusters
Synchronized bar-facing burpees

Men use 95-lb. barbell
Women use 65-lb. barbell

Time cap: None


Event 2
For time:
120 double-unders, each, relay
120 chest-to-bar pull-ups, total, sets of 15
120 hang power snatches, total, sets of 15
120 double-unders, each, relay

Men use 95-lb. barbell
Women use 65-lb. barbell


Event 3
For time:
50 synchronized wall-ball shots
30 cleans, 135 / 95 lb.
50 synchronized wall-ball shots
20 cleans, 185 / 135 lb.
50 synchronized wall-ball shots
10 cleans, 225 / 155 lb.

Men throw a 20-lb. ball to 10-ft. target
Women throw a 14-lb. ball to 9-ft. target


Event 4
For time:
100-cal. row, switch as needed
100 toes-to-bars, total

Time cap: None
Tiebreak: None


Team have until Monday morning at 1pm Eastern / 10am Pacific to submit their scores. Note this is different than the usual Open timing.
