The 2017 CrossFit Games are just 42 days away. And with the Games being held in Madison, Wisconsin, for the first time, hotel rooms in Madison are gone.

A search on results in no available rooms. There are a few available bedrooms available on AirBnb for single guests and just one rather expensive house available for a larger group.

Those without a hotel room yet will need to go out as far as Waukesha or Wisconsin Dells to find available rooms. Waukesha is an hour and ten minutes from Madison while Wisconsin Dells are only an hour and two minutes away.

This apparent lack of hotel rooms to support the fans looking to attend the CrossFit Games could present a problem. While there is likely one more batch of Games tickets to be released it will be interesting to see how fast they sell out if there is not adequate lodging.

Are you heading to Madison this year? If so, what are your plans for staying in the city? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Cool idea to secure college rooms. I would consider it if I hadn’t found a place with a tiki bar in the backyard! 🙂

  2. I was supposed to go with my family and rented an air bnb for the whole week before and weekend of the games. Due to some unforeseen circumstances we can’t make it but can’t get any money back if I cancel the air bnb, I’d be willing to let someone else stay there for a discount if anyone is interested! It’s a whole house!
