Jon and Jessica North welcomed their second child into the world this week. Liv Lee North was born yesterday, September 27, one day before the anniversary of Jon North’s cardiac arrest that happened last year.
Liv Lee has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy with non-compaction and crevices in her heart. According to Jessica, “her heart does not pump properly to supply her body with enough oxygen.” Liv is on medication and will be undergoing more testing.
Liv’s condition was found the day she was born and Jessica was transferred to a different hospital to better care for Liv following the delivery. Congrats to Jon and Jessica and keep Liv in your prayers.
I would like to introduce you to our little miracle, Liv Lee North. She was 8lbs and 11 ounces. Our hearts are so full of love for our new baby daughter. Liv is a survivor. She has been diagnosed with a rare heart disease called cardiomyopathy with a non compaction. Meaning her heart is weak & does not pump regularly. We have so much hope with the medicine prescribed by the wonderful team of physicians treating Liv. God is good. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are going to learn a lot the next few days, staying strong & very hopeful. 🎀 I love you Liv 💕 I love you @jlnorth33 ❤️ #livlove
