The Canadian Functional Fitness Federation (CFFF) has announced the first three athletes who will be representing Canada at the 2017 International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3) World Championships in October. Daniel Viger, Jonathan Gibson and Charli Anobile have officially been “selected and confirmed” by the CFFF to compete on Team Canada.
All three athletes competed at the 2017 CrossFit Regionals. Viger finished 9th at the East Regional while Gibson withdrew from the West Regional (#34 on the list) after suffering a small pec tear during the ring dips on Event 2. Anobile finished 17th at the West Regional.
