The Sprint O-Course is scheduled for Friday morning for all divisions. It looks like Dave Castro and team are not wasting any time on getting things built in Madison.
Castro shared two photos on Instagram this afternoon of the custom obstacle course being built. The course will be built with wood and will feature some big obstacles. The course appears to have five lanes with some monkey bars and two tall structures that may require the athletes to climb up and over.
The obstacle course is being built in the North Lot, a converted parking lot. Based on the second picture, it looks like CrossFit has brought in truckloads of dirt for the obstacle course.
And in the first photo, there is astroturf with the white/red finish line similar to the finish line in the soccer stadium in Carson. While we don’t have a clear picture of how big the North Lot “field” will be, you can see some green on the far left side of the photo, which gives the impression that it is a fairly large surface. We’re also assuming that stadium bleachers will be installed behind the camera of the first photo.
