Continuing with the whiteboard theme, Dave Castro revealed Event 3 of the 2017 CrossFit Regionals. The first workout Saturday morning is a down and back chipper featuring dumbbell overhead walking lunges, double unders, wall balls and rope climbs.

What is interesting so far about the first three workouts is that none of them feature a barbell! In 2016, five of the seven workouts used a barbell.

Also, all three workouts are very shoulder intensive. From Strict HSPUs with a weight vest in Event 1 to dumbbell snatches and ring dips in Event 2 and now Event 3. While we haven’t seen anything super heavy, the athletes will be feeling the burn on moving day.
