The 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games start in just 17 days. With fans and athletes descending upon Madison, Wisconsin in the days leading up to the start of the competition, the Madison Area Sports Commission has created a section on their website to help visitors travelling to the Madison area find places to eat and things to do while in town.

The website, visitmadison.com/crossfit, talks about the weather (generally highs around 80 degrees with lows in the 60s with good chances of rain) in addition to the standard things to do.

If you are travelling to Madison, check out the places to eat and things to do like hitting the bike trails, spending time on the lake and “kicking back at the Terrace”.

It will be interesting to see how time fans have to explore the city with what appears to be more of a festival feel for this year’s Games. With all divisions competing over four days, there might be potentially less time to spend away from Alliant Energy Center. Stay tuned to The Barbell Spin for updates to Castro’s hints and schedules as they are released.
