When Katrin Davidsdottir and Mat Fraser need to perform, they put in the work and do it.

Davidsdottir swept the field in Events 10 and 11, named Ringer 1 and 2. Her 200 points vaulted her up to a podium spot (third), just three points ahead of Jamie Greene.

RINGER 1 & RINGER 2

Ringer 1
30-20-10 reps of:
Air bike (calories)
Toes-to-rings

Time cap: 7♀ /  6♂ minutes

Ringer 2
15-10-5 reps for time of:
Burpees
Overhead squats (95 | 135 lb.)

In this pair of sprints with limited rest between, the athletes were visibly exhausted by Dave Castro’s latest test with the final workout looming.

Mat Fraser took second in Ringer 1 behind James Newbury, and first in Ringer 2 to regain the overall lead over Noah Ohlsen. Twenty-five points separate the pair with the final up next.

As of now, unless Tia-Clair Toomey fails to meet the minimum work requirement in the final, she will be declared the Fittest Woman on Earth for the third straight year; a feat no woman has accomplished.

THE FINAL WORKOUT

In true Castro form, he brings back a chipper from a decade ago dubbed “The Standard.”

THE STANDARD

30 clean and jerks (Grace)
30 muscle-ups
30 snatches (Isabel)

♀ 95 lb.
♂ 135 lb.
