Nicole Holcomb qualified for the Central Regional last month, but had to withdraw due to a lingering back issue. Holcomb is having a follow-up surgery today to repair an L4/L5 disc herniation that did not hold.
Holcomb’s first surgery was back in September 2016, but after pressing too hard to get back she re-injured her discs and must go back in to repair it again.
On having to re-do the surgery, Holcomb shares, “I had a hard lesson but it’s soaked in…..do things right, no shortcuts, be patient.”
And like that, Holcomb is already out of surgery!
