Rich Froning, the 4-time individual CrossFit Games champion and 2-time CrossFit Games Affiliate Team champion, turned 30 years old today. Froning changed the “Sport of Fitness” six years ago when he won his first Fittest on Earth Title. Since then, Froning has yet to lose at the CrossFit Games.
Froning will be going for his third consecutive affiliate cup title in two weeks along with his teammates on CrossFit Mayhem.
Froning tops the list of individual earnings competing in the sport of CrossFit. From Open, Regional and Games appearances as an individual, Froning has earned just over $1 million.
Outside of CrossFit, Froning is married to Hillary Froning and is now a dad to two children he and Hillary have adopted with the most recent adoption just two months ago.
