Just months after injuring his pec at the Meridian Regional, Adrian Mundwiler is back on the competition floor. This past weekend, Mundwiler and Sam Briggs teamed up to compete at the 2017 Swiss Alpine Battle.
The European duo, dubbed Muscle Mountain, ended up winning the title over several other teams with CrossFit Games veterans. In 2nd place was Team Barbellner, a team comprised of Patrick Vellner and Lindy Barber.
Another all-Games veteran team finished in 4th place. Jennifer Smith and boyfriend Lukas Esslinger narrowly missed the podium as Team Fanny Pack. Smith is just over a month removed from wearing a boot on one of her feet.
The final podium spot went to CrossFit Games veteran Phil Hesketh and CrossFit Games team veteran Mia Akerlund.
