
The International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3) has added six more countries that will be competing at the 2017 iF3 World Championships. Along with the United States, the countries of Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Ireland, Sweden and the United Kingdom will participate in the 2-day event on October 21-22, 2017, at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California.
The iF3 recently announced the two most recent national governing bodies that have been recognized. The Federacion Mexicana de Fitness Funcional will be the governing body in Mexico and the Canadian Functional Fitness Federation is the governing body in Canada.
The iF3 World Championship will include Individual and Team Medley formats testing 6 events in the following categories: aerobic capacity, strength, bodyweight endurance, bodyweight skill, mixed modal, and power.
In the United States, USA Functional Fitness will host the 2017 National Championships on September 8-10 in Fountain, Colorado, to determine the roster competing at the iF3 Championships.
