Coffee Pods And Wods – Dave Castro liked Pedro’s accent, so he agreed to go on his show. Seems like a rationale, well thought out reason for joining a show.
Any who…
Over the course of 73 minutes, Pedro and Dave dove into the CrossFit Games, programming and planning the competition, public perception and thoughts on competitors such as the World Fitness Project.
Pedro started off strong with succinct questions, allowing Dave to run and answer thoroughly. Then, as the interview progressed Pedro let some of the qualifiers slip into his questions.
Overall, I highly recommend just clicking the video above and watching the entire show. It’s honestly well worth it. And if you want to jump to some of my favorite questions, just look below…
2:06 – How are things progressing? Would you have many more visits now before you just go there like for the Games?
2:17 – Does that make you nervous that you won’t see anything until then? Like that you’ve it’s just sitting there waiting.
12:15 – How do you stay current or keep your finger on the pulse on what’s happening if you avoid looking at those things?
26:56 – Will there be any other offsite events in Albany or is it just one outside and then everything else going to be in the arena?
27:11 – Do you want to tell us how many [events] there are altogether or no? Are you sticking with your 8 to 12?
27:23 – Is there any possibility of on Thursday evening being like surprise we’re doing the workout Thursday evening?
30:13 – Are you happy with the season so far? It’s obvious a bit different this year. The semi-finals, the online semi-final, the you made some changes. Are you happy with how it’s played out?
42:01 – Do you see World Fitness Project and those other kind of events that are popping up? Do you view those as a threat or like an adversary to the Games? Do you view those things as threats because it’s so different because they have like contracts and salaries and all that kind of stuff?
1:03:46 – Do you ever search your own name on Reddit or anything?
As for the Reddit answer, he did do a Reddit AMA back in 2017.
