Sara Sigmundsdottir Featured in FITAID Docuseries | Part 1: Perseverance

Three-time CrossFit Games veteran Sara Sigmundsdottir has been teasing a documentary series with FITAID since the beginning of this year. The first episode of the multi-part documentary series dropped today.

Sigmundsdottir — who took third in the 2015 and 2016 CrossFit Games, and finished fourth last year — takes us through her road to recovery after an off-season injury nearly put her 2018 Games season in danger.

At the moment, Sigmundsdottir is currently 17th worldwide in the 2018 Open, and other than 18.2 and 18.2a, she hasn’t finished outside of 35th place. She will compete alongside fellow Icelandic Queens, Katrin Davidsdottir and Annie Thorisdottir, in 18.5 at Thorisdottir’s box, CrossFit Reykjavik. Stay tuned for the rest of this series from directors Jonathan Mayfield and Preston Smith.
