2024 Down Under Championship Results

The 2024 Down Under Championship wrapped up on Sunday. The premier off-season competition featured some of the biggest names in Australia, along with a few to athletes who made the long trek.

This year once again featured an elite individual division. The elite teams, however, were switched to same-sex pairs. Previous years the teams were same-sex teams of three.

CrossFit Games rookies Peter Ellis and Aimee Cringle won the elite individual divisions.

On the elite men’s team side, Team Ape (Ricky Garard and Aniol Ekai) nearly went undefeated. The duo won six of the seven events, with their only other finish a 2nd place effort on Day 1 against Jakes at Work.

The elite women’s competition was much closer as the final event decided who would stand atop the podium. The Hamster & The Lioness (Julia Hanford and Charlotte Baldwin) won the final event – a max snatch – to overtake Mayhem at the WARC (Daisy McDonald and Hayley Adams).
