Since retiring from competing in the CrossFit Games season, Christian Harris has shifted his focus to long-distance running. Since his last appearance at the CrossFit Games in 2023, Harris has been hitting the road for some long runs.
Harris will take on the New York City Marathon in two weeks, but this past weekend he hit up the Catholic Health Suffolk County Half Marathon as his final long training piece before the big race.
Harris finished in 1:41:49, a 7:46/mile pace. It was also a 30-second PR for the three-time CrossFit Games team athlete.
The NYC Marathon is Sunday, November 3. More than 50,000 runners are expected to take part in this year’s marathon.
