CrossFit OC3 and CrossFit Kilo are bringing back the Central Regional. No, CrossFit is not bringing back the Regional format. Instead, the affiliate that took 3rd place at last year’s CrossFit Games, CrossFit OC3, along with nearby CrossFit Kilo are once again hosting a functional fitness competition this September.
Formerly the Field of Teams Competition, the newly named Central Regional will be this September 21-22, 2019, in Bettendorf, Iowa. The competition will also have a new and improved location, the TBK Bank Sports Complex.
So if you’re in the Quad Cities area or are looking for a great competition before the start of the 2019 (Part 2?) CrossFit Open, keep an eye out as more details are announced. And of course, make sure to follow The Barbell Spin on Instagram and Facebook to stay up-to-speed on the latest news.
