Jayson Hopper will make his third appearance at the CrossFit Games this week, but he and a few other Games-level athletes took on the Rogue Fitness Enduro Challenge recently. Hopper, however, didn’t just take part, he finished 2nd overall.
The Rogue Fitness Enduro Challenge was a machine-based chipper featuring a 2,000-meter SkiErg, 2,000-meter Row and a 4,000-meter BikeErg. Hopper finished in a blazing 19:48, just 13 seconds behind Jason Marshall who took the win in the virtual competition.
Done inside the new HWPO gym, Hopper completed the 2k Ski in 6:44. After a quick transition to the Concept2 rower, he finished the 2,000 meters in 6:43 with the overall clock showing 13:27. He would then peddle through the 4,000 meters on the BikeErg as the HWPO crew watched on. Hopper would finish the Enduro Challenge in 19:48, with BikeErg split time of 6:21.

Hopper was not the only Games-level athlete to try out the Enduro Challenge. Last year’s 16th Fittest Woman, Lucy Campbell, took 3rd place on the women’s side with a time of 22:30.

Games-Bound Emily Rolfe finished in 23:02, good for 7th. CrossFit East Nashville PRVN’s Andrea Nisler took 10th overall.Â
Back on the men’s side Kristof Horvath finished 11th and Anthony Davis took 16th.
