Jeff Adler will not compete in the individual competition at TYR Wodapalooza. Rumors were that the 2023 CrossFit Games champion would sit out and when the leaderboard on Competition Corner was published, Adler was absent.
No explanation has been given on why Adler will not be competing. However, earlier this week Caroline Lambray, Adler’s partner and coach, shared a photo of him watching hockey and what appeared to be a humidifier in the room. So there is a possibility that he was sick recently.
As for team, Adler is still listed on the PJ’s roster along with Pat Vellner and Jayson Hopper. So for now, expect to see Adler on the competition floor on Saturday and Sunday.
Adler is not the only individual athlete to withdraw this weekend. Bethany Flores and Seher Kaya have also elected to not compete in the individual division.
