We might have just witnessed one of the best post-event interviews in the history of CrossFit. And by the best I mean the most awkward.
Following Laura Horvath and Gabi Migala taking 1st and 2nd, respectively, on Sunday morning’s workout at the Rogue Invitational, both were interviewed by the one-and-only Kiki Dickson.
The interview was amazing from start to finish. From Gabi’s refusal to look at Laura at the start of the interview followed by Laura speaking about their friendship that dramatically ended during the 2024 CrossFit Games.
“Obviously I know Gabi. We’ve been training partners for multiple years. Like, she’s been my best friend for a while,” said Horvath.
And when the interview ended, both turned and walked away. Neither wanted anything to do with the other.
No love lost between Gabi and Laura.
And with two events remaining, Gabi leads the field. Lucy Campbell is in 2nd and Horvath has moved up into 3rd place.
