Noah Ohlsen Out, Harry Lightfoot In at Rogue Invitational

Yesterday afternoon Rogue announced that Harry Lightfoot has been invited to compete at the 2025 Rogue Invitational. However, the Instagram post did not mention who the two-time CrossFit Games veteran was replacing. But upon inspection, Noah Ohlsen’s announcement post has been taken off the Rogue Invitational Instagram.

Lightfoot has been to the CrossFit Games the past two years, finishing 21st in 2024 and 11th in 2025. Lightfoot is also ranked 19th in the Rogue Points System, the primary method used for automatic invites.

However, Lightfoot was originally not invited despite being ranked higher than Henrik Haapalainen (20th) and Colten Mertens (21st), both of which received an invite.

Thus, with Ohlsen out, Bill and Caity decided to extend the invite to Lightfoot.

As for Ohlsen, it is unclear why he has elected to sit out the Rogue Invitational. While Ohlsen stepped away from competing at the CrossFit Games this year, he has been competing in the inaugural season of the World Fitness Project. Ohlsen did, however, welcome his first child earlier this year.
