On Saturday while CrossFit Mayhem Independence was competing at the CrossFit French Throwdown, Rich Froning gathered the Mayhem troops to compete in the Old Hickory Lake Triathlon. Froning was joined by Elly Kabboord, Tasia Percevecz, Dre Strohm, Tia-Clair Toomey and Haley Adams.
The Sprint Triathlon was a 400-meter swim in Old Hickory Lake, a 20km bike followed by a 5k run.
Kabboord had the fastest time of the Mayhem athletes at 1:05:40, good for 1st overall in the women’s division. Toomey finished 2nd followed by Adams.
Froning was the fastest male Mayhem athlete. He finished six seconds behind Kabbord. Froning finished 18th overall, 17th among male athletes.
