The Rogue Invitational was supposed to begin next Friday, October 28. But that all changed when athletes received a message telling them the first day of competition will be a day earlier on Thursday.
Athletes will be required to attend an athlete briefing Wednesday afternoon at Dell Diamond Field.
In speaking with an athlete who will be competing at the Rogue Invitational, the athletes are being told it will now be a 4-day competition. However, tickets will not be available to the general public Thursday.
As for the event, Rogue has told the athletes to be trainers, running shoes and trail shoes, but no spikes or cleats will be allowed any day of the competition.
So what could we see on Thursday? The most obvious event would be some sort of ruck run or trail run. GoRuck is one of Rogue’s partners for the event.
