The Rogue Invitational announced its first confirmed athlete of the 2026 Rogue Invitational, Elisa Fuliano. Following that announcement, I headed over to the Rogue Points System webpage to see where she ranked. She’s 24th (more on that later).
I then noticed that back in July Rogue began its review of adding XENOM to its proprietary Rogue Points System.

Since its inception, Rogue has added more competitions beyond just the CrossFit Open, CrossFit Games and the Rogue Invitational itself. It now also includes the CrossFit Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Wodapalooza and the World Fitness Project.
And likely coming soon, XENOM.
In some respects it makes sense, Rogue Fitness is a foundational partner and the official equipment supplier for XENOM. In another sense it is a bit different than a typical competition where it is not a standard competition like Wodapalooza. Instead, it’s a point-based system where athletes are trying to accumulate as many points across a standardized point system.
It does appear that incorporating XENOM into the Rogue Points System is still under review, so we will have to wait and see how athletes can accrue points towards the official Rogue Points System.
Also, rumor is that XENOM Miami will be the first XENOM competition where it will be part of the Rogue Points System.
Going back to Elisa Fuliano, she is ranked 24th in the official Rogue Points System. The question is whether Fuliano received a special invite this year because of her 9th place finish at the 2026 CrossFit Games or is the Rogue Invitational expanding to a 30-athlete field?
The Rogue Invitational has always been just a field of 20 men and 20 women. And it is also not uncommon for Bill and Caity to send out an invite to someone outside the assumed cut line of Rogue Points System rankings.
However, it would not be out of the realm of possibility that Rogue increases the field size this year. Increasing the field size has been rumored over the past few years, could 2026 be the year that it happens?
The Rogue Invitational online qualifier begins this Friday, August 21. Last year the workouts were released a day prior to the official start of the qualifier. Maybe we will get an official announcement prior to the start…
