Team North America came back on Sunday to retain the TYR Cup at TYR Wodapalooza SoCal. Team World entered the final day in the lead, but Team North America earned five points on the final day to win, 14-11.
Team World was in control all weekend after taking the lead on Event 2, Ski Erg Shootout. Tia and team held a 3-2 lead after Friday, carried that lead through Saturday with an 8-7 lead.
But on Sunday, Team North America evened up the score on Sandy Delivery 2.0. Then after losing the women’s Sync or Sink Sunday evening, Team North America rattled off five straight points to win their second TYR Cup in as many years.

With the win, each of the Team North America team members win $20,000 while Team World takes home $5,000 each.
The Lazar Đukić MVP Award was given to Justin Medeiros this year. In addition to the trophy, Medeiros also earned $10,000 for the award.
