The first athletes who will be competing at the inaugural TYR Wodapalooza SoCal have been announced. The elite athletes will compete under a new team format as they battle for the TYR Cup. The teams will be split into a North America team and The World team with eight athletes (four men and four women) on each team.
On the Talking Elite Fitness YouTube channel, Tommy Marquez and Lauren Kalil announced the first two athletes who will be competing for the TYR Cup. 2023 CrossFit Games champion Jeff Adler was announced as the first athlete on the North American team. And on the World team, six-time CrossFit Games champion Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr will be on the competition floor.
TYR Wodapalooza SoCal will take place September 20-22 in Huntington Beach, California. Tickets are currently on sale.
