Rogue has released the roster for its Legends competition this year at the Rogue Invitational. And man, I feel old.
Legends like Josh Everett, Chris Spealler, Tanya Wagner, Rich Froning, Matt Chan, Annie Sakamoto will all be there as expected.
But at the bottom of the list, Mat Fraser, Brent Fikowski and Pat Vellner. Oof. They’re definitely legends, but I’m not ready for that. I get it, I’m old. I just don’t want to admit it.
When you remember watching Fikowski begin his career in 2013 and then make nine consecutive appearances at the CrossFit Games, it means you’ve been around CrossFit for quite some time.
And now guys like Fikowski and Vellner have called it a career and get to enjoy their time as Legends. Well deserved…even if it makes guys like me feel old.
The complete list of the 2026 Rogue Invitational Legends are Margaux Alvarez, Sam Briggs, Kristan Clever, Annie Sakamoto, Annie Thorisdottir, Tanya Wagner, Dan Bailey, Josh Bridges, Josh Everett, Rich Froning, Miko Salo, Chris Spealler, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr, Rebecca Voigt-Miller, Matt Chan, Mat Fraser, Brent Fikowski and Pat Vellner.
The Legends will be on-site at P&J Live for the 2026 Rogue Invitational. Spectators will get the opportunity to meet these Legends at a special Legends VIP Happy Hour, meet & greets throughout the weekend and spectator workouts coached by some of your favorites.
The 2026 Rogue Invitational is October 23-25 in Aberdeen, Scotland. Tickets are still available on the Rogue Fitness website.
