WFP Online Qualifier Leaderboard Finalized After 62 Scoring Adjustments

The leaderboard for the World Fitness Tour’s online qualifier for Tour Event 1 is now final. Ten days following the close of the submission window, the WFP has adjusted the leaderboard following video review. In total, 62 scores were adjusted in this process.

The scoring adjustments ranged from one second or rep to invalidating an athlete’s entire score. Tudor Magda was the only athlete who was initially in the top 10 (and slated to qualify for the Pro division) who now sits outside the top 10 following video review.

Magda was in 8th place when the score submission window closed. His Workout 3B score was penalized one rep from 30 reps to 29 reps. That penalty, in addition to Colin Bosshard, Fabian Beneito and Chris Ibarra moving up as a result of other athletes’ penalties, knocked Magda down to 11th place.

The difference between 10th and 11th is huge as 10th place gets to compete in the Pro division for guaranteed money and more points than the Challenger division.

The women’s leaderboard saw five minor penalties to the top 10, but no one dropped from the Pro division down to the Challenger division as a result of the video review process.

Thirteen athletes had a score zeroed out following video review. Those “nuked” penalties accounted for 30 of the 62 penalties. Andrey Fedotov, Luke Burns, Nikita Yundov, Luis Cuellar, Reilly Good, Carlos Casado Suela, Jasmine van Arheim, Rikke Laursen, Sarah Massoni and Jamie Latimer were all inside the top 30 prior to one or more of their scores being zeroed out.

Hannah Black is the only athlete to receive a scoring adjustment in her favor. She originally submitted a score of 17 on Workout 3B. After video review he score was increased to 31 reps. The adjustment moved her up from 38th to 26th and she now qualifies for the Challenger division.

Here are the list of athletes who have qualified for the WFP Tour Event 1:

As you see above, the top 11 women from the online qualifier have been invited to compete in the Pro division. That is because Emma McQuaid, one of the 20 Pro card athletes will not compete due to injury.

Athletes have until Monday, April 7 at 9am Central Time to accept their invite to compete at Tour Event 1. From there, the WFP will work down the online qualifier as part of the backfill process.

Tour Event 1 is May 9-11 in Westfield, Indiana.
