Who’s Competing in the Teen Divisions at 2023 Wodapalooza?

The teen divisions at the 2023 Wodapalooza Fitness Festival offer a glimpse into the future of the sport. While most of those heading down to Miami to compete have extensive experience competing in CrossFit competitions, this is another opportunity for these young athletes to get a sense of where they stack up heading into the 2023 CrossFit Games season.

The teen divisions are broken into two age groups, 13-15 years old and 16-18 years old. While there are not any 13-year-old athletes competing next weekend, there are several athletes who have aged out of the age group division for the 2023 Games but have one more opportunity to compete in a teen division at Wodapalooza.

In total, there are 18 teenage boys and 19 teenage girls competing between both divisions. The 2022 CrossFit Games champion in the 14-15 year-old boys division, RJ Mestre, will be competing as well as Rylee Beebe, the runner-up in the 14-15 year-old girls division at the 2022 Games.

Take a look at the teenage athletes competing this weekend as there’s a good chance you will see quite a few back in Madison later this year.
