XENOM has added its first event to the 2027 calendar. After Dallas, London and Miami in 2026, XENOM is kicking off the 2027 calendar year in Malaga, Spain. The two-day event will be January 16-17.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 2. Did you know that if you use code ‘SPIN’ you will save 20%? Yep. Code ‘SPIN’ always saves you money, even with XENOM.
On top of the Malaga announcement, XENOM is making a few changes to its format.
- Foundations Division. This is a new entry-level division that is even more approachable to athletes who are just getting into CrossFit or need additional scaling. For example, this division will feature scaled wall walks and zombie rope climbs. The weights on the metcon events are also lighter.
- Compete is now Intermediate. This is just a renamed division, but falls more in line with what we typically think about when it comes to scaled divisions within CrossFit competitions.
- Single-Day Options. The two-day 10-event Decathlon of Fitness is still the bread and butter. But, let’s say you can only compete one of the two days. Well, now you can. There is now the ability to register for just events 001-005 on Saturday or just events 006-010 on Sunday.
- XENOM 005K. This was technically available at XENOM London, but in case you missed it, you can sign up for XENOM’s version of a 5k. Mimicking Event 005, athletes can just do one event – a 2,000-meter Ski + 3,000-meter run.
