The 2018 CrossFit Open begins in eight days. With that, the CrossFit Games and Dave Castro released a short, 43-second clip where Castro hints that this year’s Open will surprise everyone.
Castro comments that he thinks “people believe they have figured out the format and the possibilities of what we do in the Open.” He continues to draw a box with his hands and says that the Open this year will be “outside” this perimeter.
His final words of advice is that we should all be prepared for the unknown and unexpected.
The 2018 CrossFit Open begins Thursday, February 22, with the live 18.1 announcement in Brazil.
