James Sprague and Aimee Cringle won the 2026 CrossFit Games. After 20 scored events, Sprague held off Dallin Pepper on the final day while Cringle pretty much had it wrapped up going into Sunday.
Sprague is the first athlete to win his second Games title non-consecutively. Sprague won in 2024, then placed 3rd last year. No other multi-year champion did not win their first two titles back-to-back. Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr skipped a year between her 7th and 8th titles because of her pregnancy in 2023.
For Cringle, she is now the Fittest Woman on Earth in her third year competing at the CrossFit Games. In her rookie debut, she placed 13th overall in 2024. She followed that up with an 8th place finish in 2025. And now, in 2026, Cringle dominated the women’s field with five event victories this week.
