Some athletes took advantage of this. Many did not.
However, fast forward two years and let’s take a look at how many individual CrossFit Games athletes have their L-1 or L-2 certificate.
As you can see above, there are 26 total athletes (14 men and 12 women) who have at least their L-1 certification.
