Angelo DiCicco is CrossFit Mayhem’s Final Team Member

When Dave Castro announced the change to the team format for the 2018 CrossFit Games season, it came days after Rich Froning and CrossFit Mayhem announced that Games veteran Tasia Percevecz was moving to Cookeville, Tennessee, to join the team. The change to 4-person teams meant the Mayhem crew had six athletes for four spots.

In response, Froning shared that he would be fielding two teams instead of just one, but that meant two more athletes were needed. The first announced addition was Kristin Miller from last year’s OC3 Black team.

And now we know the final member of the Mayhem crew…Angelo Dicicco.

In an Instagram post this afternoon, CrossFit Mayhem Freedom shared a photo of the eight teammates who will make up CrossFit Mayhem’s two teams and last year’s champion in the 16-17 teen division was among the known athletes.

It is still unclear how the teams will be divided, but if the picture on Instagram gives any clues (based on who they are standing by), here are the teams:

  • Percevecz, Barber, Hunsucker & Hewett
  • Froning, DiCicco, Kabboord & Miller

Of course, we could just be reading too much into the photo. Who do you think will be teamed up?
