The CrossFit Games announced its second failed drug test from the 2022 CrossFit Games. Bart Walsh, the fourth-place finisher in the Men’s Neuromuscular division, failed his drug test after it tested positive for GW1516.
It is unclear if Walsh appealed the decision as CrossFit did not mention an appeal in its statement. Walsh will now be suspended from competing in CrossFit competitions for four years until August 6, 2026.
The news comes exactly a month after 65+ Masters athlete Tommy Tillman received a sanction after failing his in-competition drug test at the CrossFit Games.
