We already know the athletes will be competing in at least two events on Wednesday. And based on Dave Castro’s book he likes the 1 on, 1 off, 3 on format. And based on everything that we know today it feels like this is how it is shaping up.
On the CrossFit Games’ new app, the only event listed right now is an Athlete Ceremony. Beginning at 5pm on Thursday, every athlete from individuals to teams to masters and teens is on the list. It seems as though CrossFit will be doing an opening ceremony-type event inside the Coliseum.
More details are likely to come out, but it looks like the 2018 CrossFit Games are already going to have a different look and feel than last year. Oh, and we are just eight days away from the start of competition. Buckle up and stay tuned to The Barbell Spin.
