The changes made to the CrossFit Games season and the direction of CrossFit HQ has moved Dave Castro out of the spotlight through the Open and the Sanctionals. But the Games are still programmed by Dave.
We are just five weeks out from the start of the 2019 CrossFit Games and Dave Castro is in Madison. Castro is likely trying to think through his programming so far and make any changes after being in the Coliseum.
Castro shared a photo of him sitting on the Coliseum floor yesterday.

Castro and CrossFit HQ will not be able to start setting up for the Games yet. Beginning July 5, the Alliant Energy Center will host the Wisconsin Holstein Association State Championship Show in the New Holland Pavilion #2 (where the Masters & Teen competitions take place). And from July 18-21, the Dane County Fair returns to the Alliant Energy Center grounds. All of the facilities will be used during that time.
This means that CrossFit HQ will have less than 10 full days to build out the Coliseum, transform the New Holland Pavilion and construct the outdoor field.
