U.S. Army Captain Chandler Smith narrowly qualified for the 2019 CrossFit Games at the Rogue Invitational in May. At this moment, he’s one of 20 men in a field that started with 143 athletes from around the world.

Smith is in 16th overall with the Sprint Course event on his sights tomorrow morning, where the field will then be cut down to the final 10 athletes. Those 10 will compete the rest of the weekend.
