Frederik Aegidius withdrew from the CrossFit Games before Event 1 due his back. The seven-time regional athlete and five-time Games veteran finished as the Denmark national champion at the close of the 2019 Open.
The 32-year-old finished 21st overall at last year’s Games. His best finish at the Games came in 2013, where he took 15th overall.
