Hunter Williams received a four-year suspension from CrossFit over the weekend following a failed drug test. Williams submitted a sample that contained a metabolite of GW1516 during an in-competition drug test at the Syndicate Crown Semifinal.
Williams competed on the CrossFit CLT’s team that finished 2nd at the Semifinal and were slated to compete at the CrossFit Games. That is, until Williams’ drug test came back positive.
TTT CrossFit, who finished 6th at the Syndicate Crown, took CrossFit CLT’s place at the Games. TTT CrossFit would end up taking 30th at the Games.
