Individuals and teams will both be tested on the Trek Marlin 8 Mountain Bike at the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games. The mountain bike will also be available for purchase at up to 40% off the $1,329.99 retail price for those on-site at the CrossFit Games.
The Trek Marlin 8 Mountain Bike is the “brand’s beginner-focused hardtail mountain bike” according to bikeradar.com. One of the pros of this bike is that it comes in many frames accommodate different sized riders and can be used for both the roads and faster trails. The bike weighs approximately 29 pounds.
This announcement marks the 5th event that has been hinted at for the Games already. So far ‘Helen’, the 5K cross-country run, Olympic Weightlifting Total and a Gymnastics Skills event have been shared.
As for timing, the Teams take on the Olympic Total and Cross-Country 5K on Friday while the Individuals have them programmed for Saturday. Outside of knowing when they likely won’t use them, nothing has been shared in regards to timing just yet.
