This year’s CrossFit Mayhem team took 2nd place at the 2025 CrossFit Games. That team, however, will not be returning in 2026. Angelo DiCicco stepped away from competition and into the coaching role. On top of that, Sam and Zoe DeMeester and Molly McGrandy all moved away from Cookeville.
That left me wondering who will field the CrossFit Mayhem team for the 2026 season. Of course, the CrossFit Hendersonville Mayhem team was made up of who trained out of CrossFit Mayhem last season. Dalton Rodgers, Kensie Campbell, Rebekah Devine and Wes Peters finished 14th at the 2025 CrossFit Games.

And there’s a chance that team sticks together but represents the mothership this year. But then a story popped up on Wes Peters’ and Dalton Rodgers’ Instagram. The duo was was joined by Kensie Campbell and Lindsey Lane in a 4-person team workout.
The story tagged @mayhemathlete.
Could Lane be swapping out for Rebekah Devine for the 2026 CrossFit Games season?
Lane has steadily been improving throughout the years. She made her mark in 2023 when she won CRASH Crucible. She followed that up by taking 2nd place in the RX division at 2025 TYR Wodapalooza Miami. She placed 14th and 21st at the 2025 Mayhem Classic and NorCal Classic, respectively.
And then there is the J.R. connection. Lane goes to CrossFit CRASH and is coached by J.R. Howell. DiCicco and Howell are good friends. Could that have been the connection needed to bring Lindsey out to Cookeville?
For those saying it was just a workout, Wes Peters was actually training the worm at Mayhem over a month ago. The video was buried on slide 10 of a carousel post…
