Jason Grubb is a four-time CrossFit Games Masters veteran and the reigning two-time champion of the Men’s 45-49 year-old division. While Grubb is headed back to Madison to defend his title, he is also building a community to help support Masters athletes in the CrossFit ecosystem.
As part of Grubb’s Bolder Athlete training platform, he is launching the Bolder Athlete Bonus Program for this year’s Games. The bonus program will pay out $50 in cash for every event win to any participating athlete.

But who can participate? Any Masters athlete who is competing at the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games. And the cost to register? It’s free! Eligible athletes just have to sign up at bolderathlete.com/bonus.
Speaking about the new program, Grubb, CEO of Bolder Athlete, said, “We’re not just about acknowledging the win, we’re about celebrating it. Each win feels like unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning, and our goal is to make it as thrilling.”
Grubb is also hosting an Unofficial Masters Athlete Afterparty following the conclusion of the Games to “commemorate the strength, endurance and resilience of the masters athletes at the end of competition in Madison.”
On top of the $50 cash prize, sponsors are also participating and offering perks such as gift cards and sponsorship opportunities for winners. BlackLabel Supplements, Thirdzy and Barbell Apparel have signed on to participate.
Bolder Athlete is a new training program created by Jason Grubb that is designed specifically for masters athletes. The program goes live this month and you can sign up for the waiting list to be notified when it goes live.
So if you’re heading to Madison in August to compete as a masters athlete at the Games, head over to bolderathlete.com/bonus and register for free to participate in the Bolder Athlete Bonus Program.
