Key Dates & Times for 2023 Individual Quarterfinals

The 2023 CrossFit Open is behind us, but Quarterfinals are right around the corner. The top 10% of individual athletes from each region will be invited to compete in the Quarterfinals beginning next week on March 16.

But what happens between now and then?

Monday, March 13

Registration opens for individual athletes. The registration fee is $50 USD. Athletes have until Friday, March 17, at 3pm EDT to register. That is when the first competition window closes.

On the same day, CrossFit will release the floor plans for individual Quarterfinals. The exact time is not known.

Thursday, March 16

All individual Quarterfinal workouts will be released. When the new website was released with details on 2023 Games season, it appeared that the workouts would be released over the three days of the competition. However, that is not the case. It will be like last year where all of the workouts are released at once.

From there, scores for certain workouts will be due every day during the three-day online competition.

Friday, March 17

As mentioned earlier, registration to compete in the individual Quarterfinals closes on March 17 at 3pm EDT/12pm PDT. (note: for those outside the US, time change occurs this weekend on March 12. Make sure you keep that in mind for the submission deadline in your specific time zone).

Scores for Workouts 1 & 2 are due at 3pm EDT/12pm PDT and scores are revealed one hour later.

Saturday, March 18

Scores for Workouts 3 & 4 are due at 3pm EDT/12pm PDT and scores are revealed one hour later.

Sunday, March 19

Score for Workout 5 is due at 3pm EDT/12pm PDT and scores are revealed one hour later.

Teams and Age Group Quarterfinals then kick off the following week. More on that to come later.
