Laura Horvath & Justin Medeiros Retain Top Spot in Updated Worldwide Rankings

CrossFit has released its updated Worldwide Rankings following the the conclusion of the Semifinals last week. The rankings, which were introduced this past off-season, are used to calculate the number of qualifying spots to the CrossFit Games from each Semifinal. The updated rankings now reflect additional points earned from the Semifinals.

Here are the men’s and women’s top 100 rankings as well as the complete rankings for all individual Quarterfinal athletes as of June 12, 2023:

The top 3 women and top 2 men remain unchanged from Quarterfinals with Laura Horvath and Justin Medeiros holding onto the top spot. Below them, Gabriela Migala moved up into a tie for 3rd place with Danielle Brandon after winning the Europe Semifinal. On the men’s side, Roman Khrennikov jumped up four spots into 3rd overall.

There was much more movement among rankings with Semifinals as the point differential was larger by placement compared to the Open and Quarterfinals earlier this year. Additionally, athletes who elected to compete on a team did not earn any points thereby dropping them down the leaderboard.

There were several large jumps into the top 100 including Jelle Hoste moving up 322 spots into 56th. Conrad Winnertz rose 188 spots to 93rd after taking 2nd at the Africa Semifinal. The women’s side was not as drastic but Olivia Kerstetter and Emily de Rooy both broke into the top 100 after qualifying for the CrossFit Games this year as rookies.
