Lindy Barber joined CrossFit Mayhem three years ago to compete alongside Rich Froning, Matt Hewett and Elly Kabboord. Two CrossFit Games titles and a 2nd place finish later, Barber is moving on.
After winning the 2018 CrossFit Games with CrossFit Mayhem Freedom, Barber addressed the crowd and announced she would be moving out of Cookeville, Tennessee, and therefore would be leaving the team.
Barber moved to Cookeville, Tennessee two years ago to train with Froning and her boyfriend, Jon Esposito, went to school at Tennessee Tech.
Barber has competed at the CrossFit Games twice as an individual finishing 28th in 2013 and 35th in 2015. From there Barber would win the CrossFit Games with Mayhem Freedom in 2016 and once again this year.
Other than saying she was going to be moving away from Cookeville, Barber did not indicate what is next for her. Stay tuned to TheBarbellSpin.com for news and updates of the CrossFit Games.
