The 2018 Online Qualifier begins tonight. All of the Masters’ and Teen divisions will battle multiple workouts over the weekend for a shot at the top 20 and a ticket to the CrossFit Games.
Just like the live Open announcements, The “AGOQ”, or Age Group Online Qualifier, will air live at 8pm Eastern / 5pm Pacific to announce the workouts for the weekend.
After the live announcement, the top 200 in each age group, both men and women, will have until Monday night at 8pm/5pm to complete all of the workouts. This is the fourth year of the AGOQ and athletes can likely four workouts (the same as the two previous years) with the fifth score coming from the Open finish.
Because the Open finish counts as a scored event, those who finished near the top of the leaderboard have a bit of a head start heading into this weekend. However, Tiago Lopes came back from 74th last year in the 40-44 age division to qualify for the Games.
To watch the live announcement show, tune in to the games.crossfit.com site or CrossFit Games’ Facebook page tonight!
