The 2026 CrossFit Games season is officially underway. The Northern California Classic, aka NorCal Classic, released the workouts for its online qualifier a day early. The top 35 men and women in the elite individual division will qualify for the NorCal Classic Semifinal later this year.
And for those who are not elite, the online qualifier will determine the spots for all of the community divisions.

Registration is open now through the close of the workout submission window on January 25. Head over to Competition Corner to register.
The Online Qualifier Workouts

Athletes have until January 25, 2026, to submit scores for the NorCal Classic online qualifier.
Video review will run from January 31 through February 27 with invitations being sent on February 28.
The top 35 from the online qualifier will join 15 at-large invitations that are reserved for athletes who have won select competitions and finish in the top 2,000 of the CrossFit Quarterfinals.
The NorCal Classic will be May 29-31 at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California (the same location as last year). In addition to the thousand+ athletes competing in the community divisions, the top 2 men and women in the elite individual division will qualify for the 2026 CrossFit Games.
On top of that, first place in the elite division will take home $20,000. Second place will receive $10,000 and third will get $5,000.
