“Road to the Games” with Enric Closa, National Champion of Andorra

Enric Closa finished 1,839th in the world during the 2019 CrossFit Open. Closa, however, finished 1st among those who competed for Andorra, earning him the title of National Champion of Andorra.

Closa is 32 years old and has been doing CrossFit for four years. The 3-minute video focuses mostly on sharing what CrossFit is and how/why he is going to travel to the United States to compete at the CrossFit Games.

Closa ranks 106th out of 148 men competing at the 2019 CrossFit Games. With yesterday’s announcement of the field getting cut to 75 competitors after Event 1, Closa will need to improve upon his performance to stay in the competition.

Andorra is a tiny country landlocked between France and Spain. The population is just 77,000. During the Open, 41 men registered and competed in the 2019 CrossFit Open.
